From April through October, nearly 100% of our flowers come from Maine flower farms. We have built real relationships with growers statewide over the past 13 years whose flowers are picked and delivered to us within days. You won't find that at a grocery store or a national delivery site. During the off-season, we source imports thoughtfully, prioritizing quality and responsible growing practices over volume. We also work dried Maine flowers, foraged greenery, and seasonal plants into our offerings year-round to reduce our reliance on imported materials.

Most arrangements last 5–10 days with proper care, and often longer. We purchase blooms that are slightly closed at delivery so they continue to open and develop in your home, which means you're watching them come to life. A few tips: keep the vase water full (our fresh flowers drink fast), trim the stems every few days, and keep them away from direct sun and heating vents. Some flowers are more ephemeral by nature; we'll still use them because they're extraordinary.

Yes! Arrangements are delivered packaging-free: no plastic wrap, no cellophane, no styrofoam, no floral foam. Your flowers arrive as they are arranged in a glass vase, with a handwritten enclosure card tied in real silk ribbon. In freezing weather we'll briefly use a plastic bag to carry flowers from the car to your door, and we'll take it right back with us to reuse. We compost our floral scraps, buy vessels from local Maine ceramicists, and have avoided floral foam since we opened in 2013.
